This work reimagines Blackness beyond limitation by connecting where ancestry and futurism meet, where adornment becomes language, and where our bodies are honored as art, history, and possibility. Afrotopia is not about spectacle; it’s about authorship. It is a commitment to creating images that protect our dignity, and to expand how we are seen. I wanted to ensure that when our stories are told they are told the right way by us, for us, and with purpose.
